About Mission StageWorks

Mission StageWorks is building a community hub of arts experiences and engagements with a commitment to making the performing arts include everyone. Through accessible programs and meaningful events, we amplify voices to forge deep, ongoing relationships across the region. We are a space where people from all walks of life can meet, share experiences, create bravely, express boldly, and celebrate our community.

We plan to offer:

  • Educational classes and workshops

  • Community events and engagements

  • Presentations and performances

  • Local artist development programs

We serve everyone, especially underrepresented communities such as BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, disabled, immigrant, and low-income individuals. Now is the time to create space for voices, for learning, for belonging. To keep arts accessible, community-rooted, and alive. To use art not as escape, but as a way to show up for one another.

Mission StageWorks is based in San Francisco’s Mission District
