    • Engage in an actionable engagement discourse with assigned tasks and follow ups

    • 1-to-1 conversations scheduled as necessary, suggested timeframe: once every 4-5 weeks

    • Occasional meetings with administrators will take place to brainstorm, strategize, and support

      • Examples: only focus on research and sharing information, or focusing on the communication and relationship-building

    • Expanded community & institutional network involving:

      • Key individuals who may offer expertise in their field (public policy, finance, academia)

      • community-focused groups such as affinity groups, community centers, or local nonprofits

    • As a team, consider the bigger picture of San Francisco and the Bay Area as it relates to the mission to inform action steps

    • One designated group facilitator would send out a meeting agenda, facilitate conversation, and report back to MSW leadership

    • The CAC may only focus on two priority topics and then open up the discussion

    • Conversations are supportive of differing opinions, perspectives, and beliefs while focusing on solution-oriented action

    • This group meets every 5 weeks

    • As a vital link between the organization and the greater communities it exists to uplift. To ensure Mission StageWorks remains inclusive, accessible, and aligned with the

    • The work of the CAC keeps the organization accountable and more connected with the greater community

    • By including more voices, the CAC develops more opportunities for solutions, feedback, and local impact

  • MSW seeks passionate teaching artists to lead inclusive, equity-centered theater, storytelling and performance education. A weaver of artistic and personal individuality, our teacher artists cultivate student creativity and craft, equipping them with confidence, inspiration and voice.

    Mission StageWorks is developing a registry of interested teaching artists. While we are not hiring at this time, when we reach that stage, we will contact potential candidates. You are invited to fill out the Interest Form to be included in the registry.

    General administration, marketing, research, development of documents, programs, volunteer coordination

    Objectives

    • Building internal and/or external-facing information documents 

    • Creating systems outlining processes and protocols in collaborative teams

    • Conducting research and managing independent projects

    • Contributing to the design and build of the organizational infrastructure that is missions aligned and values driven

    Suggested Methods / Examples of practice

    • Establish routine schedules for check-ins, progress assessments, project management

    • Example: Creating a document that outlines class expectations and reminders

    • Example: Researching volunteer program ideas to best build our own

    • Example: Getting involved on the marketing side

    • More routine involvement, weekly/bi-weekly meetings

    • Personalized level of involvement and contribution
